News, Presentations, Event Archives and Handouts
The Office of General Education and the QEP is engaged in numerous activities to support faculty as they lead student learning. Proposals to Enhance 21st Century Learning
The purpose of our "Proposals Section" is to provide a launching point for discussions of how we might better promote the types of knowledge and skills our students will need to thrive in 21st Century Life and Work. The proposals are starting points for examining how NKU can develop a modern applied liberal education that supports a distinctive undergraduate experience integrating Foundation of Knowledge with more specialized learning in the major. The initial proposals focus on creating a stronger first year experience and leveraging our core institutional strenths in undergraduate research and civic engagement to create a distinctive honors curriculum.
